SIGNAL EXTENSION USING SOLAR POWER OFF-GRID
Considering areas that have signal coverage requirements but in lack of electrical power, we designed a system that the ICS REPEATER utilizes Solar Power. In addition to responding to green energy, it also extended the base station signal coverage.
Our design adopts an offline system, and the implementation plan has the following two aspects:
1. The power aspect, the power system includes the following, cabinet, solar panel, MPPT, battery, remote monitoring system.
2. The RF signal aspect, the RF system includes the following, antenna implementation design, and ICS repeater.
Taking coordinates 29°58’09.8″ N as an example, the required average sunshine hours is 3.5 hours, and the maximum power support to repeater requirement is 3 consecutive cloudy days. The following options are provided,
