Introduction
The F25FE0-GSM is a fiber optic repeater used for coverage extension for outdoor long distances or for indoor coverage extension of large buildings. The F25FE0-GSM is equipped with a remote OMT function, allowing for easy access remotely for monitoring and configuration purposes from the control centre. Its enclosure is designed to handle the harshest environments.
Consisting of a master and remote units, the remote unit can be installed up to 20km from the master unit over a fiber link. The master unit is designed to be easily mounted into a 19 ″ rack at the BTS location. RF signal is coupled from the BTS therefore providing a stable input signal to the master unit. With only service antenna(s), the problem of isolation is totally avoided.
The F25FE0-GSM fiber optic repeater is a cost-effective solution for coverage extension without the need of implementing more BTS sites. The F25FE0-GSM can be applied to much larger areas including large public buildings, shopping malls, exhibition halls, parking lots, tunnels and rural areas.
